Nauvoo Temple
A recreation of the original Mormon Temple that was destroyed in the mid-1800s, the Nauvoo temple is located on Nauvoo's historic Main Street. Mormon contractors built the limestone replica to exact detail on the site of the original temple, using construction methods from the 1840s. The temple is closed to the public.

Corpus Christi Catholic Church
Completed in 1885, Galesburg's Corpus Christi Catholic Church is located on South Prairie Street. This church was built with a neo-Gothic architectural design and houses the holy relic of St. Crescent that was taken out of the catacombs in Rome.
