    The Old Bailey House
    The Old Bailey House is an Eastlake-style Victorian structure that was built in 1887 by W. S. Bailey, founder and first president of Union National Bank of Macomb. The house features parquet floors, wood and iron fireplaces, elegant lighting fixtures and an elaborate cherry staircase. The main floor of the house is open on weekdays for visitors from 9am to 5pm.

    Hancock County Courthouse
    Located at the center of Carthage Square, the Hancock County Courthouse was built in 1907 and consists of twelve offices, two courtrooms, several jury rooms and a rotunda. The courthouse is also built with stained-glass windows, mosaic tiles and painted murals in the interior. The building is open to the public Mondays thru Fridays.

    The U.G. Orendorff Mansion
    This old German Tudor-style home was designed by Robert C. Spencer of Chicago in 1902. The U.G. Orendorff Mansion was originally a plow factory and currrently stands as one of Canton's historic sites.

    Granite Bank Gallery
    Closed on Sundays, the historic Granite Bank Gallery is open to visitors from 9:30 am until 5pm. This Romanesque Revival building was built in 1892 and enlarged in 1906. Today, this bank gallery carries a selection of decorative accessories, hand selected wines and art collections by local artists. The Washington Perk Café is also located inside the gallery.

    Knox County Court House
    Open year-round, Knox County Court House is open to visitors on weekdays from 8:30am-4:30pm. The cornerstone of this sandstone building was laid in 1884 and construction was completed in 1886. One of Galesburg's historic buildings, the details of this court house are typical of those found in the Romanesque period.

    Carthage Jail

    Constructed in 1839, the Carthage Jail was restored in 1938 and was originally home to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitors have the opportunity to tour the jail and the outdoor garden seven days a week.

    Lewis Round Barn
    Built in 1914, the Lewis Round Barn was later moved to the Adams County fair grounds site in 2000. Local Amish helped to disassemble and rebuild the barn. The structure is 80 ft. in diameter with a 45 ft. silo in the center. The barn is open during the last week of July each year. It is also the site of annual fairs and festivals.
